Partners

Dear Potential Partner,

Thank you for exploring the possibility of partnering with Cornerstone Assistance Network Central Texas to serve ex-offenders, their families and victims in your community and local congregation.  Cornerstone holds firmly to the belief that community collaborations are essential if we are going to see holistic restoration of ex-offenders and families. Only by weaving together a diverse network of churches, organizations, volunteers, and financial support is Cornerstone able to consistently serve, and help others serve, ex-offenders in central Texas.

During these difficult economic conditions, churches and organizations are being asked to help in ways they are probably not accustomed to. While it is a blessing that people are turning to local churches and organizations for help, they quickly discover that resources have been allocated elsewhere or are not available at all. In addition, churches typically are not well equipped to meet long term reintegration needs of ex-offenders.  Our purpose here at Cornerstone Assistance Network Central Texas is to assist local churches by freeing them to do what they do best—provide nurturing spiritual formation in the context of a caring Christian community.  It is our prayer that together we can demonstrate Christ’s love and compassion to all ex-offenders who come to us seeking physical, emotional, or spiritual help.

Again, we look forward to exploring a partnership with your staff and congregation so that we all might be a beacon of Hope to these so often misunderstood and neglected in society.

If you are interested in learning more about how to partner with Cornerstone, please contact Dr. Dane Fowlkes, Interim Executive Director of Cornerstone Assistance Network Central Texas.
